Philip Jones  President

Philip Jones serves as the CEO of Tentara as well as National Project Manager for Golf & Residential Projects. Responsibilities include golf course and residential development, property acquisitions, residential construction, golf course construction, and management of the national operations.

Philip’s combined business background includes 15 years of master planning, building and managing Golf Course/Residential Developments throughout the United States. Philip also has 6 years experience as a golf course contractor, 9 years in infrastructure development and 10 years of upper management in the development industry.

Mr. Jones represents the project owners on the Boards of Architectural Review, Homeowner Association Advisory Groups, Golf Members Advisory Groups, Master Builders Programs, and Residential Sales Teams.

Philip attended The University of Tennessee and is a Member of the CMAA, ULI, NGF, and GCSAA. He is a recurring Industry Guest Speaker for Golf, Inc. at the Crittenden Golf Expo Shows across the country. He and his wife Tara live in Brentwood, Tennessee.


Tim Manus  Vice President

Tim Manus is a Class A, PGA Professional who has left his mark on several high end clubs throughout Tennessee. With his strong leadership and attention to detail, he enters Tentara Partners as both Vice President and Director of Golf Operations.

Most Recently, Manus held the position of Director of Golf at the Governors Club in Brentwood, Tennessee. The Governors Club is an Arnold Palmer Signature private country club located in a very upscale residential community. Manus was responsible for the overall golf operation as well as membership sales. Under his tenure the club grew from 41 golf members in 2000 to 395 members in 2006 and over 100 social members. He developed the clubs first policies and procedures manuals, employee handbooks, and club directories.

Manus previously worked at the prestigious Golf Club of Tennessee as the Head Golf Professional for 9 years. He assisted in the opening of this private club and started the caddy program there. There are several members of Augusta National at this club which shows the level of service expected at this facility. He was awarded several teaching honors from the PGA while at this facility.

Manus started his professional golf career at Stonebridge Golf Course working for Mike Eller and Ray Danner, the founder of Shoney’s Restaurants. He credits his dedication to attention to service and details back to this beginning of his golf career. He was responsible for helping facilitate over 180 corporate and charity events which were held at this course each year.


Mary Ray  Vice President and V.P of Sales for Tentara’s current project Laurel Cove

Mary Ray, one of the most successful Realtors in the Tennessee Real Estate community has joined Tentara Partners as Vice President and Managing Broker. Mary was named Tennessee Realtor of the Year in On-site Sales Volume for 2001. Mary has extensive knowledge in new home sales and marketing, having been an on site agent at Laurelbrooke and The Governors Club. In the past five years, Mary has been very involved in establishing builder programs, Architectural Review and Compliance. She is very excited about Laurel Cove, and looks forward to continuing her relationship with the realtor community.


Traci Peel  Director of Marketing and Special Events

Traci Peel serves as Director of Marketing and Special Events. Her background is as diverse as her duties at Tentara Partners. She spent 25 years in the entertainment business which included 8 years as a performer with the group, the New Seekers, best known for their million selling single "I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing". After touring and a solo recording contract on Capitol Records, she transitioned comfortably into the corporate/business world with stints at Pabst Brewing Company as the National Events Coordinator, Caesars Entertainment as the Nashville Branch Manager, and The Marketing Group/Impact Radio Networks as the Director of Business Development. Marketing, promotions, advertising, corporate sponsorships, and special events are all areas in which Traci has experience and excels.


Bethany Jones  Director of Operations

Bethany Jones serves as Director of Operations for all of Tentara Partners' projects. After 4 years in IT Project Management at the corporate headquarters of HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), she is excited to return to her field of expertise - commercial and residential property management. Bethany and her husband Brad have a daughter Gabrielle and live in Nolensville, TN.
